On one occasion one of the forklift trainees who was unemployed, was trying to fill out a job application. He confided in me that he had difficulty with reading and writing and could I help him with the application. In spare moments during the course I helped him put together a resume and armed with his course pass he went on to get a job as a forklift truck driver.
